Schmidt Announced as Friday Starter
Jason Schmidt was named to start Friday night’s game in Atlanta by Dodgers manager Joe Torre Wednesday. Schmidt is coming off a three-inning start against Florida, his second start in two years. — Ken Gurnick

Well all the nay sayers are scratching thier heads and other parts of thier bodies this morning. Schmitty is the bomb you guys. at 36 he still smoked a 87 MPH pitch by a lethal bat and showed he has breaking stuff to manuver himself through a decent line-up.
