Wolf Scratched from Start
Randy Wolf has been scratched from his scheduled start Friday night against the Giants with stiffness in the back of his left elbow. Wolf was sent to Los Angeles and received a cortisone injection. Club officials believe the injury is not serious. Hiroki Kuroda will start Friday. — Ken Gurnick

Not a good sign we are losing are most dependable starter in the rotation while the Rockies continue to show they are the team to beat. Wolf has been a victim of poor run support otherwise would have 16 wins or so. I do like what a healthy rotation would look like:

1. Randy Wolf (has earned it)
2. Clayton Kershaw (ready)
3. Hiroki Kuroda (must be healthy)
4. Vicente Padilla
5. Jon Garland
6. Jeff Weaver (only if needed)
* Chad Billingsley shouldn’t be pitched again until healed.
