Abreu Activated
Tony Abreu has returned from his latest injury and reported to Double-A Chattanooga. Abreu, who missed last year with hip surgery, suffered a bad ankle sprain the last week of Spring Training. — Ken Gurnick

Ken,
There seems to be lots of commotion and hype about this kid in KC who is mowing em down. Why no discussion of Billingsley. Since his 1-6 start last year, he has carried the club, like 14-4 from mid may to the end of 2008, and 5-0 to start 2009. ERA low 2’s during that time. I know he struggled in Playoffs, and maybe doesn’t face #1’s, but he sure seems t be an emerging 1 and has been so consistent
I always said that Jason Repko was the re-incarnation of Pete Reiser, now I think Tony Abreu has them both beat.
